Define those Brows
In the summer heat it’s often nice to keep makeup to an absolute minimum and you can get away with less if you’ve defined your brows, because as we all know, eyebrows frame and lift the face. Here are some pointers on how to create a very natural look, especially for those of you who are guilty of over plucking (in the ’90’s….hands up) or who have sparse eyebrows.
Avoid:
any reddish brown shades – even if you have auburn hair
black even if you have black hair, instead opt for a dark brown-black
dark brown if you are blonde, instead go with a light taupe
hard lines or edges, especially on the top
Do:
short feathery strokes
keep it soft especially at the inner edges
use an angled brush and powder if they are very sparse
use a pencil/pen to fill in the gaps caused by over plucking
I love….
M.A.C. Eye Brows : I use Fling most often - good for filling in little gaps.
Bobbi Brown Defined Long-Wear Brow Pencil : I use shade Grey on so many people.
Stila All Day Waterproof Brow Colour : I most often use Light Brow. It doesn’t get more natural than this…..It’s like a watercolour pen and you literally draw individual brow hairs.
Wunderbrow Brow Gel : This can last for days! I use shade Blonde most often and then usually add on top one of the above.
